The Towns Foundation Group, Inc provides the mandated 2026 curriculum for Child Abuse Identification and Reporting. This course is designed for professionals requiring state-specific certification for license renewal or employment compliance

Child Abuse & Reporting

  • The Law: Cite Maryland Family Law § 5-704 

  • Reporting: MD requires an immediate oral report followed by a written report within 48 hours.

  • Penalties: Failure to report in MD is a misdemeanor with a fine of up to $10,000 or 3 years in prison.
